Why I want to be in the 4C Challenge Program
I love challenging my brain!
The reason why I am applying to the Challenge Program, is because there have been so many times where I have not been educationally challenged in class. I have been hearing a lot of very good things about the Esquimalt challenge program, and it's cohort. And I am so excited to be a part of that community, to have like-minded peers around me for my high school experience.
I would be honoured to be accepted into the Challenge Program. I feel that I have the mental and social bandwidth for it. I feel that this is the perfect opportunity for me. It would improve my chances of getting into a high end institution post high school by a mile. Having people around me that also enjoy learning would help me to make connections and friendships, with people who enjoy going a deep as I do into topics. And I feel it would also benefit me a lot. It would also help me by improving my knowledge in so many ways.
I would like to be in an environment where everyone around you is similar in that they want to be challenged and where we can learn from each-other, and our different interests, and that they think like-mindedly, but so different at the same time. I would love to accomplish my childhood dream of becoming a top student, and to do that I think a necessary step would be to get into the challenge program.
I put a lot of thought into how to best show you who I am, and who I am. Through all my years of elementary and middle school I have always craved something more.
I have put a lot of time and effort into my portfolio, and trying to show you the real me, and not just the things I think that you would want to see, and the things that would help my chances of getting into the program. Of course I want to show you those things as well, but I also want to show you guys the real me. Not just the impressive me, or the academic me, or the accomplishing me, but all of it. I love the thrill of finding something that really truly challenges my brain then just chewing on it for as long as I can, or until I solve it.
