Creation of Program with Victoria Literacy Connection

Creation of Program with Victoria Literacy Connection

The Executive Director of a company called The Victoria Literacy Connection (VLC) was at Kidovate that day. She saw my micro bit kit stand, and later reached out to see if they could order 10 of my kits.

She told me she wanted to start a program with my kits, where kids can tinker with the different games and code I made/wrote. And so we did! I bought more parts, printed more instruction booklets, and put them all together. This time it took WAY less time, because I already had all the code written, all the instructions written out, etc… When they were done, I went to her office, and showed her how to use each and every part.

Takeaway

I learned about negotiations, and how to act in a professional manner, both in person, and while sending emails to figure out the details.
