Musical Plays

I have participated in my school musicals in grades 5, 7 & 8. In grade 5 we did a modified version of The Wizard of Oz. It was called The Wizard of Cause. I was the Mama bear, and some ensemble characters. In grade 7 we did Grease Jr., and I was 4 different ensemble characters. This year, we’re doing Beetlejuice Jr. and I am Death by fireworks, and 4 ensembles.

Takeaway

I have done a few musicals, and I loved doing each one. I apreaciate the co-operation that’s needed for a musical/play to come to life. The organization, the repetition of practicing until it’s just right, etc… I feel like a lot of the things needed to put on a musical/play describes a few of my traits.
